AECOM is recruiting a Engineer – Electrical in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The active official vacancy, reference J10144340, supports construction, infrastructure, engineering or site-delivery work within Engineering.
Role purpose: Supervise electrical works for roads, bridges, underpasses, and associated infrastructure including street lighting, feeder pillars, LV cable networks, lighting control systems, and architectural/feature lighting.
Delivery scope: Construction Supervision & Quality Control; Supervise electrical works for roads, bridges, underpasses, and associated infrastructure including street lighting, feeder pillars, LV cable networks, lighting control systems, and architectural/feature lighting.; Ensure installations are executed in compliance with approved designs, specifications, and applicable authority requirements.; Develop and implement inspection and test procedures for electrical works in accordance with the project quality plan.; Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs for all electrical components.; Witness and verify testing, commissioning, and energization activities for electrical systems.; Oversee electrical works integration with bridge structural components, ensuring safety and durability.; Coordination with Stakeholders & Authorities; Coordinate with DEWA for electrical supply connections, inspections, and NOC approvals.; Liaise with other authorities, utility providers, and service agencies to ensure timely approvals and resolution of interface issues.
Candidate profile: Bachelor's degree in electrical Engineering; Minimum of 8 years of experience in UAE for similar projects as electrical engineer; Experience in roads and infrastructure projects ;
Workplace and engagement: Contract, onsite, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Salary, closing date and visa sponsorship are not disclosed by the employer.
