Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital is recruiting a NSMP Club and Federation Doctor in Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide medical care to club and federation athletes; diagnose and prevent sports injuries; coordinate rehabilitation, nutrition and event coverage; document care; advise coaches and multidisciplinary colleagues; teach CPR, support clinical education and follow WADA rules.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS MD and unrestricted medical licence; sports-medicine master’s degree, formal fellowship/subspecialty training or specialty board certification; 7–9 years in sports medicine including 3–5 in a comparable role; CPR and first-aid training; emergency, trauma and musculoskeletal knowledge; continuing sports-medicine education and society participation; Qatar licensing eligibility. Elite club experience is preferred and advanced cardiac life support is desirable.
