Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City is recruiting a Specialist Physician-Medical General Radiology in Abu Dhabi. RESPONSIBILITIES Work under consultant supervision; provide specialty assessment and treatment; conduct ward rounds and follow-up; review investigations and adjust care; keep clear records and obtain informed consent; coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care; support junior staff, governance, audit, research and education; contribute to clinical coverage and departmental administration.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 qualification and current national licence or equivalent.
Main Activities
Tier 1: no extra post-board experience. Tier 2: at least two post-qualification clinical years in an internationally accredited institution.
In addition, tier 3: at least three post-qualification specialist years in an internationally accredited institution.
Delivery and Collaboration
UAE nationals need no additional post-board experience; the advert also provides a no-experience-after-board exemption for UAE and non-UAE nationals enrolled in HAAD-accredited residency programs. WORK ARRANGEMENTS Full time.
