Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE NMC Healthcare is recruiting a Consultant – Infectious Disease in Abu Dhabi. RESPONSIBILITIES Assess patients through history-taking and clinical examination; Establish and review clinical diagnoses; Plan, deliver and review treatment within clinical privileges; Order or evaluate relevant diagnostic investigations; Maintain accurate clinical records; Coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care; Contribute to clinical quality review and improvement; Maintain professional development and ethical clinical practice; Participate in antimicrobial stewardship.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS Recognized MBBS/MD-equivalent medical degree; postgraduate infectious-diseases and/or internal-medicine qualification; UAE-recognized consultant certification and DOH Abu Dhabi licence/eligibility; relevant consultant experience, preferably in tertiary care. Antimicrobial-stewardship/infection-control experience is desirable and complex/immunocompromised-patient experience advantageous; BLS/ACLS where required by the facility.
