Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE Egis Group is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. RESPONSIBILITIES Technical scope: HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, architectural finishes/fit-out, themed/entertainment developments.
In addition, inspect or supervise assigned works and record compliance with project requirements; Develop, coordinate or review the specified design deliverables; Review or coordinate drawings and technical/material submissions; Develop or evaluate tender and proposal documentation; Coordinate the specified procurement and supplier activities; Check quality standards and follow up compliance issues; Identify and track defects, nonconformities or outstanding works; Identify risks/hazards and support the required investigations or controls; Coordinate or verify the specified testing and commissioning activities; Maintain the required reports and project records; Coordinate with the relevant client, contractor and project-team interfaces; Provide the stated team leadership, guidance or training.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS Recognized mechanical-engineering degree; at least 15 postgraduate years including five with construction-supervision consultants; major mixed-use/hospitality/leisure/entertainment delivery, mechanical design/construction/commissioning, UAE authorities/standards, Office/AutoCAD/Revit/BIM and reporting required. Professional engineering membership/registration preferred.
