Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE AECOM is recruiting a Resident Engineer – Civil (Airport Projecects) in Doha, Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES Technical scope: airport cargo facilities.
In addition, inspect or supervise assigned works and record compliance with project requirements; Review or coordinate drawings and technical/material submissions; Prepare or monitor programmes, sequencing and project progress; Check quality standards and follow up compliance issues; Identify and track defects, nonconformities or outstanding works; Apply the relevant site health and safety requirements; Maintain the required reports and project records; Coordinate with the relevant client, contractor and project-team interfaces.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS Civil/structural/construction-engineering degree and APM/equivalent membership; at least 15 complex-building years and ten major-airport years; resident/site supervision, multidisciplinary coordination, standards, QA, specifications and delivery procedures; reporting/leadership and airport safety/security knowledge. Cargo-terminal experience is preferred.
In addition, in-person first-day onboarding at an AECOM office is required. EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
