Role Purpose
ROLE AECOM is recruiting a Project Director – Rail & TBM Construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. RESPONSIBILITIES Technical scope: rail projects.
In addition, prepare or monitor programmes, sequencing and project progress; Manage the stated estimating, budget or cost-control activities; Manage the assigned contract administration and correspondence; Coordinate the specified procurement and supplier activities; Apply the relevant site health and safety requirements; Coordinate or verify the specified testing and commissioning activities; Maintain the required reports and project records; Coordinate with the relevant client, contractor and project-team interfaces; Provide the stated team leadership, guidance or training. REQUIREMENTS At least 20 infrastructure/transport project-management years, ten comparable rail years and five Middle East years; mandatory TBM tunnelling and major rail delivery.
Main Activities
PMI/PRINCE2 methods, large budgets, government/stakeholder interfaces, MS Project/P6, 50-plus-person team leadership, contracts/procurement and English required. UAE rules knowledge is preferred.
In addition, in-person first-day onboarding at an AECOM office is required. EMPLOYMENT Contract.
