Role Purpose
ROLE AECOM is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer – Design in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Engineer – Design to join our engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In addition, in this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems.
Main Activities
You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to transform concepts into functional designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and manufacturing feasibility. REQUIREMENTS **Required Qualifications:** Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mechanical design or product development Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, engineering fundamentals, and manufacturing processes Demonstrated ability to create detailed technical drawings and design documentation Solid analytical and problem-solving skill set with attention to detail Experience with material selection and understanding of material properties Familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality requirements (ISO, ASME, or similar) Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and design simulation software Background in design optimization and performance analysis Experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or related industries Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems Experience with 3D modeling and advanced CAD techniques Familiarity with quality assurance and design verification processes EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
