Role Purpose
ROLE King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is recruiting a Lead, Bioinformatics Platform in Saudi Arabia. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead bioinformatics services, workflows and software infrastructure; manage scientific and technical teams, resources and budgets; coordinate research stakeholders and develop scalable data-analysis capabilities supporting university researchers and core laboratories.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Relevant PhD and 5–8 years in bioinformatics, computational biology, scientific software or related work.
Main Activities
Requires technical/scientific leadership, biological datasets, sequencing, HPC/Linux, budgeting and international research collaboration. Core-facility experience and demonstrable scientific impact are preferred.
