Role Purpose
ROLE KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools is recruiting a [2026-2027] Elementary 2nd Grade Math Teacher in Philadelphia, PA, United States. RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and teach second-grade maths, assess student work and adapt lessons, maintain a safe and inclusive classroom and accurate records, communicate with families and collaborate with coaches and grade teams; attend school events and perform assigned student-supervision duties.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires a bachelor's degree and criminal/child-abuse clearances.
Main Activities
Two-plus years of full-time urban teaching and Pennsylvania Level I/II certification are strongly preferred. Uncertified hires must submit transcripts and enter a Pennsylvania-approved certification programme within one year; requires strong classroom management and commitment to inclusive teaching.
