Role Purpose
ROLE SGS is recruiting a Microbiologist (Food Testing) in Carson, CA, United States. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and analyse food samples using microbiological and wet-chemistry methods, operate and verify laboratory instruments, maintain quality records and record nonconformities; report equipment faults and follow established test methods and operating procedures.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires a microbiology-related bachelor's or commercial-laboratory experience, English, basic maths/reasoning and computer skills, including Microsoft 365 and LIMS experience.
Main Activities
Must work the advertised Monday–Friday 11 a.m.–8 p.m. schedule, with occasional weekends as business needs require.
