Role Purpose
ROLE Dexterra is recruiting a Sous Chef with Baker Experience in Mississauga, ON, Canada. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee catering and commissary production, create menus and preparation schedules, cook from scratch and coordinate staff; maintain hygiene and safe procedures, manage costs, coach colleagues and respond to client needs while seeking service and business improvements.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires three recent years leading high-volume catering or equivalent education/training/experience, bakery/production experience, broad cuisines/special diets, cost/staff management and English.
Main Activities
ServeSafe and/or FoodSafe certification and equipment/computer skills are required; Red Seal is preferred rather than mandatory. EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
