Role Purpose
ROLE SGS is recruiting a QC Inspector (Welding & Structural) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect welding and structural fabrication/installation, check WPS/ITP/drawing compliance and witness NDT; verify offshore topside/jacket fit-up, welds and dimensions against approved specifications and codes.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires mechanical diploma/bachelor's, ten-plus overall years including five-plus after CSWIP/AWS, offshore topside/jacket fabrication and mandatory CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS credentials.
Main Activities
Needs welding/structural inspection, NDT coordination and AWS D1.1/EEMUA/ASME knowledge. EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
