Role Purpose
ROLE Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City is recruiting a Consultant Physician-General Medicine in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide general-medicine consultant services, support divisional medical coverage and follow hospital initiatives and policies; contribute to clinical peer review, productivity/utilisation review, performance management and service improvement.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires Tier 1/Tier 2 qualification, current national licence/equivalent and yearly CME proof.
Main Activities
Tier 1 requires two-plus post-board consultant years; Tier 2 eight-plus full-time accredited-institute years including fellowship. Specified UAE-national clinical subspecialty fellowships may substitute at two experience years per fellowship year.
In addition, for UAE nationals, post-primary-board clinical subspecialty fellowships in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, USA or HAAD-accredited programmes can count two experience years per fellowship year. EMPLOYMENT Full time.
