Role purpose: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Civil Construction to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Management responsibilities: In this role, you will oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.; You will lead a diverse team of professionals and coordinate with stakeholders to drive project success in a dynamic construction environment.; Conduct regular on-site inspections of workmanship, materials, and construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards; Supervise and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure efficient project execution and timeline compliance; Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and change orders in a timely manner; Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, inspection logs, and technical records; Identify and resolve technical issues and discrepancies on-site, implementing innovative solutions to overcome construction challenges; Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project managers to address concerns and ensure transparent communication; Monitor project budgets and schedules, reporting variances and recommending corrective actions; Perform material testing and quality assurance activities to verify compliance with project standards; Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for project stakeholders; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall project performance

Candidate requirements: Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in civil construction project management; Proven expertise in managing large-scale construction projects with budgets exceeding several million dollars; Strong knowledge of construction management principles, methodologies, and industry best practices; Proficiency in project management and construction management software platforms; Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements; Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a construction environment; Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a detail-oriented approach; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement; Experience with budget forecasting, cost control, and financial management; Preferred: Experience working on construction projects in the UAE or Middle East region; Preferred: Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction standards in Abu Dhabi; Preferred: Experience in contract management and vendor/supplier coordination; Preferred: Familiarity with risk management and mitigation strategies in construction;
