Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital is recruiting a Clinical Lab Pathologist in Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES Advise clinicians and laboratory staff on clinical pathology; supervise diagnostic methods and specimens; authorize and interpret results; improve laboratory procedures and accreditation; plan methods, staffing and equipment; report quality indicators and support safety and staff development.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS Registered medical practitioner on the relevant specialist pathology register in the country of origin; subspecialty training and MSc, PhD or MD in clinical-pathology disciplines such as serology, chemistry, hematology or microbiology; 9–11 years overall including six years in comparable responsibility, preferably in a similar industry; fulfil licensing requirements. MRCPath or evidence of equivalent training and experience is an advantage.
