Role Purpose
ROLE SEHA is recruiting a Consultant Interventional Radiologist in Abu Dhabi.
Main Activities
RESPONSIBILITIES Assess patients through history-taking and clinical examination; Establish and review clinical diagnoses; Plan, deliver and review treatment within clinical privileges; Prescribe and monitor authorized medication or therapy; Order or evaluate relevant diagnostic investigations; Conduct ward rounds and reassess patients; Explain procedures and obtain informed consent; Maintain accurate clinical records; Coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care; Support clinical supervision, teaching and staff development; Contribute to clinical quality review and improvement; Manage clinical risks and patient-safety standards. REQUIREMENTS DOH/SEHA-recognized Tier 1 radiology qualification, interventional-radiology board certification/equivalent, at least five post-specialty years in tertiary care and DOH/HAAD licensing eligibility; expertise in vascular/nonvascular interventions, biopsies, drainage, embolization and angioplasty; leadership and interpersonal competence.
