Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE SEHA is recruiting a Consultant Neonatology (Tawam Hospital) in Al Ain. RESPONSIBILITIES Assess patients through history-taking and clinical examination; Plan, deliver and review treatment within clinical privileges; Order or evaluate relevant diagnostic investigations; Conduct ward rounds and reassess patients; Support clinical supervision, teaching and staff development; Contribute to clinical quality review and improvement.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification, current national licence/equivalent and annual CME evidence; medical degree and Neonatology specialization; recognized board credentials, fellowship or additional specialty certification; at least five post-specialization years; DOH licence/eligibility.
Main Activities
JCI-accredited-hospital experience is preferred. Tier 1 requires at least two consultant/equivalent years after board certification.
In addition, tier 2 requires at least eight full-time consultant/equivalent post-board years, including fellowship training, in an internationally accredited institution.
Delivery and Collaboration
For UAE nationals, each eligible clinical subspecialty fellowship year may count as two clinical years; qualifying countries/programs are Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, USA or HAAD-accredited fellowships. WORK ARRANGEMENTS Detailed hours are not disclosed.
