Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE SEHA is recruiting a Consultant Physician Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in Abu Dhabi. RESPONSIBILITIES Assess patients through history-taking and clinical examination; Establish and review clinical diagnoses; Plan, deliver and review treatment within clinical privileges; Order or evaluate relevant diagnostic investigations; Conduct ward rounds and reassess patients; Explain procedures and obtain informed consent; Coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care; Support clinical supervision, teaching and staff development; Contribute to clinical quality review and improvement.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS Tier 1 requires at least two consultant/equivalent years after board certification. Tier 2 requires at least eight full-time consultant/equivalent post-board years, including fellowship training, in an internationally accredited institution.
Delivery and Collaboration
For UAE nationals, each eligible clinical subspecialty fellowship year may count as two clinical years; qualifying countries/programs are Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, USA or HAAD-accredited fellowships.
