Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE SEHA is recruiting a Consultant Physician Forensic Psychiatry in Abu Dhabi. RESPONSIBILITIES Assess patients through history-taking and clinical examination; Establish and review clinical diagnoses; Plan, deliver and review treatment within clinical privileges; Prescribe and monitor authorized medication or therapy; Order or evaluate relevant diagnostic investigations; Coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS Recognized medical degree, psychiatry residency and forensic-psychiatry fellowship/subspecialty training; recognized psychiatry board/CCT-equivalent qualification; DOH licence/eligibility; 3–5 years after specialization in similar work; trauma-informed care, developmental psychiatry and psychopharmacology expertise. English fluency, leadership and interpersonal skills required; Arabic and multicultural experience are advantageous.
