Role Purpose
ROLE Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City is recruiting a Consultant Physician-Medical Ophthalmology in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide consultant ophthalmology services; coordinate clinical review and treatment; support patient follow-up, documentation, scheduling and departmental governance; contribute to professional development, quality and clinical performance activities.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Tier 1 or Tier 2 specialist qualification, current national licence/equivalent and annual CME evidence.
Main Activities
Tier 1 requires two post-board consultant years; Tier 2 requires eight full-time consultant years, including fellowship. Specified UAE-national subspecialty fellowships may count double under the advertised rules.
