Role Purpose
ROLE Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City is recruiting a Consultant Physician-Neurology in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide neurology consultant services and support division coverage, hospital policies and clinical performance processes; participate in peer review, productivity/utilisation review, meetings and service-quality improvement with divisional leadership.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification, current national licence/equivalent and yearly CME evidence.
Main Activities
Tier 1 needs two-plus relevant post-board consultant years; Tier 2 needs eight-plus full-time years in an accredited institute, including fellowship. Specified UAE-national clinical fellowships may count two experience years per fellowship year under source rules.
In addition, for UAE nationals, post-primary-board clinical subspecialty fellowships in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, USA or HAAD-accredited programmes can count two experience years per fellowship year. EMPLOYMENT Full time.
