Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City is recruiting a Consultant Physician-Pediatric Surgery in Abu Dhabi. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide specialty assessment and treatment; conduct ward rounds and follow-up; review investigations and adjust care; keep clear records and obtain informed consent; coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care; support junior staff, governance, audit, research and education; contribute to clinical coverage and departmental administration.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification; current national medical licence or equivalent; certified evidence of annual CME.
Main Activities
Tier 1 requires at least two consultant/equivalent years after board certification. Tier 2 requires at least eight full-time consultant/equivalent years after certification in an internationally accredited institution, including fellowship years.
In addition, for UAE nationals, each eligible clinical subspecialty fellowship year counts as two experience years for programs in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, USA or HAAD-accredited programs.
Delivery and Collaboration
