Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE Sidra Medicine is recruiting a Lactation Consultant in Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES Assess and support breastfeeding/lactating families, develop individual infant-feeding plans and coordinate complex cases with clinicians; provide evidence-based education, evaluate care and implement infant-feeding standards and Baby Friendly initiatives.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires health-related bachelor's such as nursing/midwifery, current IBCLC and five-plus clinical years including two-plus direct inpatient/outpatient IBCLC practice; Qatar licensing eligibility and English are essential.
Main Activities
Postgraduate study, academic/community exposure and Arabic are preferred. Qatari experience reductions up to two years remain subject to mandatory DHP licensing requirements.
