Role Purpose
ROLE Egis Group is recruiting a Materials / Procurement Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. RESPONSIBILITIES We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Materials / Procurement Engineer to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In addition, in this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, optimizing material sourcing, and ensuring cost-effective supply chain operations.
Main Activities
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical expertise in procurement systems, and the ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams to support our operational objectives. REQUIREMENTS 10+ years of experience in procurement, materials management, or supply chain operations Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement management software Strong analytical and cost-analysis skills with the ability to interpret procurement data Demonstrated experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools Understanding of quality assurance and compliance requirements in procurement Familiarity with supply chain optimization and process improvement methodologies Preferred: Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies Preferred: Background in international procurement or logistics coordination Preferred: Knowledge of local procurement practices and regulations in Saudi Arabia EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
