Role Purpose
ROLE Egis Group is recruiting a Mechanical Design Lead in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and design professionals on airport and aviation facility projects Develop comprehensive mechanical design solutions for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems in airport environments Manage the mechanical design phase from concept through construction documentation Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless system integration and clash-free designs Utilize BIM and advanced design software to create detailed mechanical models and construction documents REQUIREMENTS Minimum 10 years of professional experience in MEP mechanical design Preferred direct experience on airport, aviation, or large-scale infrastructure projects Advanced proficiency in MEP design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design tools Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and coordinating multidisciplinary projects Strong understanding of Saudi Building Code and international design standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.) Expertise in BIM modeling and coordination Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders Experience with design coordination software and clash detection tools Project management experience and organizational skills Familiarity with airport-specific mechanical requirements and operational constraints Professional certification in mechanical engineering or related field (preferred) Airport / Aviation EMPLOYMENT Full-time.

Candidate Requirements
