Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE KIPP New Orleans Schools is recruiting a Occupational Therapist in New Orleans, LA, United States. RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate student functional needs, develop measurable IEP goals and provide individual, group and classroom therapy; adapt equipment and learning routines, track progress, coach educators and families and maintain confidential service records while managing a campus caseload and safety responsibilities.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires an accredited OT-related degree meeting Louisiana licensure standards, current Louisiana OT licence or eligibility before services, and NBCOT certification.
Main Activities
Needs paediatric/school OT and IEP knowledge, documentation and teamwork, US work authorisation and successful checks; school/paediatric practice and assistive-technology coaching experience are preferred. EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
In addition, work model: On-site.
Delivery and Collaboration
Hours/arrangements: Full-time on-site, Monday–Friday; occasional evenings/weekends and inter-campus travel PAY AND BENEFITS Pay amount not disclosed.
