Role Purpose
ROLE Egis Group is recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer in Kuwait City, Kuwait. RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking an experienced and motivated **Senior Structural Engineer** to join our dynamic engineering team in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
In addition, in this pivotal role, you will lead the design and delivery of structural engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.
Main Activities
The successful candidate will combine exceptional technical expertise with strong project management capabilities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on significant infrastructure developments while mentoring junior engineers and driving innovation within our organization.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS **Required Qualifications & Experience** Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Chartered Engineer status (PE, PEng, or equivalent professional engineering credential) or demonstrable progress toward achieving chartership Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects from conception through completion Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects and teams Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel design principles and applications Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar) Strong understanding of construction methodologies, buildability considerations, and site logistics Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Valid driver's license and willingness to undertake site visits and field inspections **Preferred Experience** Experience working within design-and-build and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract environments Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and Common Data Environments Experience with condition assessments, asset management, and upgrade projects Familiarity with various contract forms (NEC, FIDIC, or similar) Proven experience managing stakeholder engagement and building strong client relationships Background in sustainability-focused design and green infrastructure solutions **Key Competencies** Technical excellence and analytical rigor in structural engineering Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills Commercial awareness and delivery-focused mindset Leadership capability and mentoring aptitude Problem-solving and decisive decision-making skills Effective communication and collaborative stakeholder management Commitment to quality, health and safety compliance, and sustainable design practices Resilience and adaptability in dynamic project environments Detail-oriented approach with organized work methodology Visionary thinking combined with practical implementation capability EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
