Role Purpose
ROLE Egis Group is recruiting a Senior Utility Engineer in Kuwait City, Kuwait. RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a Senior Utility Engineer to join our operations team at our port and terminal facility in Kuwait.
In addition, in this role, you will oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of all utility systems that support our port operations.
Main Activities
You will lead a team of technicians while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational excellence. This is a key position for a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in utility systems management within a port or terminal environment.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Minimum 15 years of experience in utility systems management, preferably in a port, terminal, or industrial facility environment Proven expertise in electrical systems, water treatment, HVAC, and compressed air systems Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices Demonstrated experience with PLC/SCADA systems and industrial control systems Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design and documentation software Experience in budget management and cost control Proven leadership and team supervision skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent organizational and project management skills Knowledge of port/terminal operations and infrastructure requirements Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards applicable to port facilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred: ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 certification Preferred: Advanced knowledge of energy efficiency optimization and renewable energy systems Preferred: Experience with vendor and contractor management EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
