Role Purpose
ROLE Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City is recruiting a Specialist Physician-Rheumatology & Immunology in Abu Dhabi. RESPONSIBILITIES Assess patients through history-taking and clinical examination; Establish and review clinical diagnoses; Plan, deliver and review treatment within clinical privileges; Order or evaluate relevant diagnostic investigations; Conduct ward rounds and reassess patients; Explain procedures and obtain informed consent; Coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care; Support clinical supervision, teaching and staff development; Contribute to clinical quality review and improvement.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Tier 1: no additional experience after board certification.
Main Activities
Tier 2: at least two clinical years after qualification in an internationally accredited institution. Tier 3: at least three specialist clinical years after qualification in an internationally accredited institution.
In addition, uAE nationals need no extra post-board experience; the advert also exempts UAE/non-UAE nationals enrolled in HAAD-accredited residencies from additional post-board experience.
