Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, J and K, India .Largest
government teaching tertiary care hospital in J and K and one of the best in north India , at par
with Centres of excellence like AIIMS and PGI.
● Performed duties and independent high volume reporting in CT, MRI, dedicated
women’s imaging hospital , 6 months in DSA interventional radiology , IPD/ OPD/
Emergency and Operation theater USG posting , Onco CT simulator, Robotic CT guided
interventions.
● Performed all kinds of USG guided interventions including all kinds of biopsies like Liver,
Renal, TRUS guided, MSK , USG guided pigtails.
● Independently performed more than 150 PICC lines during this tenure. Assisted more
than 300 interventional vascular cases like Brain coiling, Bronchial artery embolisation
and other emergency embolisations, TACE, Renal AVM coiling, Carotid artery
stenting,bone and Liver RFA.Performed more than 500 FNAC of thyroid, Breast, Neck
nodes, Face lesions, Cutaneous swellings,Liver, Pancrease, Periportal and
retroperitoneal nodes,muscle lesions.
● Performed dedicated MR lymphangiography studies and myself injected the contrast
into the web spaces .
● Hundreds of Pain relief MSK interventions of ankle, knee, hip , shoulder , elbow .
● Interdepartmental Meets:Supervised Radio-neuro, Radio- Endo, Radio- Oncology ,
Radio- Neurology, Radio-Gyne , Radio -Peds Cardio meets , daily seminars and case
presentations.
● Three to Six months in dedicated PET- CT reporting where we worked independently
under the HoD Nuclear Medicine and did independent reporting of PET-CT reporting.
● Supervised training and teaching for junior radiology residents ,radiology’s PG students
and BSc/ MSc students.
