Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE Egis Group is recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer – Site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. RESPONSIBILITIES Technical scope: landscape/public realm, themed/entertainment developments.
In addition, inspect or supervise assigned works and record compliance with project requirements; Develop, coordinate or review the specified design deliverables; Review or coordinate drawings and technical/material submissions; Manage the assigned contract administration and correspondence; Assess or support changes, claims and contractual issues; Develop or evaluate tender and proposal documentation; Coordinate the specified procurement and supplier activities; Maintain the required reports and project records; Coordinate with the relevant client, contractor and project-team interfaces; Support the stated BIM/model-based design or coordination work.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS Civil/structural degree, PE/equivalent and structural credentials; at least ten structural years including five with UAE/GCC supervision consultants. Concrete/steel/temporary works, theming and major developments; SAP2000/ETABS/STAAD, ACI/AISC/Eurocode/BS/ASTM/UAE codes, analysis/fabrication, BIM and site travel required.
In addition, master’s and theme-park/ride/resort/façade interfaces are preferred. EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
