Role Purpose
ROLE Robert Bosch Tool Corporation is recruiting a Senior Safety Engineer – Power Tools and Accessories in Mount Prospect, IL, United States. RESPONSIBILITIES Assess power-tool hazards and mitigation measures throughout development; maintain product-safety reviews, review testing, instructions, labels and marketing material, guide project teams, mentor safety engineers and support field-return investigations and safety-design procedures.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS Requires a mechanical/electrical engineering BS or equivalent technical experience and the advertised 6–8 years in approvals, compliance, consumer-product development or quality engineering. Power-tool analysis/use, North American safety knowledge and English technical communication are essential; indefinite US work authorisation is required and future sponsorship is unavailable.
In addition, eMPLOYMENT Full-time.
