ROLE ServiceNow is recruiting a Senior Staff Software Engineer – Compute Engineering in Santa Clara, CALIFORNIA, United States. RESPONSIBILITIES Design large-scale compute scheduling and capacity systems, build forecasts and performance tests, apply AI/ML where useful and improve declarative infrastructure; guide cross-team architecture and cost decisions, own reliability/incident improvements and mentor senior engineers.

REQUIREMENTS Requires the stated degree/experience route, enterprise distributed SaaS and scheduler/resource-management expertise, Go/Python/Java, production ML and infrastructure-as-code skills. Needs capacity/performance engineering, cloud/network/storage understanding and technical leadership; ML-driven scheduling and large-server release experience are preferred.
