Role Purpose
ROLE ServiceNow is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer – Compute Engineering in Santa Clara, CALIFORNIA, United States. RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain compute infrastructure, scheduler components and capacity-reporting tools; write load/performance tests, improve efficiency and reliability, coordinate with networking and SRE teams and participate in design reviews, on-call support and post-incident improvements.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS Requires software/cloud/infrastructure experience through the stated degree alternatives, Python/Go/Java, Linux, Terraform/Ansible and cloud/network/storage knowledge. Must independently debug systems and integrate AI thoughtfully; capacity testing, Kubernetes/Slurm and ML scheduling are preferred, with additional architecture/mentoring expectations at staff level.
In addition, eMPLOYMENT Full-time.
