Role Purpose
ROLE EGIS CANADA LIMITED is recruiting a Human Health & Ecological Risk Assessment Scientist in Toronto, ON, Canada. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop human-health and ecological risk assessments for nuclear, mining and contaminated-site projects; model exposure pathways, support impact assessments and approvals, engage regulators and Indigenous communities as needed and mentor staff and support business development.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires a relevant environmental/toxicology/science bachelor's or master's and five years in consulting, industry, government or research.
Main Activities
Needs human-health/ecological risk assessment, contaminant transport, exposure/toxicology knowledge, regulatory report writing and strong organisation and communication. EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
