Role Purpose
ROLE EGIS CANADA LIMITED is recruiting a Concrete Lab/Field Technician in Vaughan, ON, Canada. RESPONSIBILITIES Collect and test concrete in laboratories and construction sites, measure slump, air, temperature, density and cylinder strength, document results and verify specifications; maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety procedures in changing weather.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires civil-engineering-technology education or related training, concrete-testing/code knowledge and accurate technical reporting.
Main Activities
Needs Ontario Class G licence, personal vehicle, acceptable driving record and physical capability for site/lab equipment. Advert lists up to three years' relevant experience; CCIL and prior materials testing are assets.
