Role Purpose
ROLE SGS Canada Inc. is recruiting a Laboratory Technician, ARD in Burnaby, BC, Canada.
In addition, rESPONSIBILITIES Receive, label and prepare samples, conduct routine tests and record results, set up/calibrate and operate laboratory equipment and complete maintenance; keep work areas clean and follow health, environmental and quality controls while reporting discrepancies.
Main Activities
REQUIREMENTS Requires a chemistry diploma/BSc, effective English, Office software and accurate sample handling/documentation. Needs coordination, time management, independent/team working and ability to follow safety instructions under pressure; extended hours and shifts may apply and Canadian work authorisation is requested.
In addition, eMPLOYMENT Full-time.
Delivery and Collaboration
Hours/arrangements: Extended hours and shifts may be required PAY AND BENEFITS CAD 20.50 per hour Advert lists 80% health/dental/vision coverage, paid time off and RRSP eligibility.
