Egis Group is recruiting a Material Engineer (Infrastructure Project Experience) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The active official vacancy, reference REF14454H, supports construction, infrastructure, engineering or site-delivery work within Engineering.
Role purpose: We are seeking an experienced Material Engineer to join our infrastructure projects team in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Delivery scope: Review, evaluate, and approve construction materials for infrastructure projects.; Prepare and submit material approvals, technical submittals, and related documentation.; Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding material specifications and approvals.; Monitor material testing activities and ensure compliance with project requirements and Abu Dhabi Municipality standards.; Ensure all materials used on-site meet approved specifications and quality standards.; Conduct site inspections and quality checks as required.; Maintain records of material approvals, test reports, and quality documentation.; Support project teams in resolving material-related technical issues.; Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.;
Candidate profile: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.; Minimum 8 years of experience as a Material Engineer on infrastructure projects in the UAE.; Previous experience working on Abu Dhabi Municipality or Al Ain Municipality infrastructure projects is mandatory.; Strong knowledge of infrastructure construction materials, specifications, and quality control procedures.; Familiarity with municipality approval processes and material submittal procedures.; Good communication and coordination skills.; Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.;
Workplace and engagement: Full Time, onsite, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Salary, closing date and visa sponsorship are not disclosed by the employer.
