Job Description
Role Purpose
ROLE AECOM is recruiting a Safety, Health & Environment Lead in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. RESPONSIBILITIES Technical scope: fire systems, architectural finishes/fit-out.
In addition, inspect or supervise assigned works and record compliance with project requirements; Identify risks/hazards and support the required investigations or controls; Apply the relevant site health and safety requirements; Coordinate or verify the specified testing and commissioning activities; Maintain the required reports and project records; Coordinate with the relevant client, contractor and project-team interfaces; Provide the stated team leadership, guidance or training. REQUIREMENTS Relevant HSE/environment/engineering degree or equivalent experience; construction NEBOSH General/equivalent; at least 12 construction HSE years with major complex projects and team leadership.
Main Activities
UK HSE rules, contractor plans/RAMS, audits/investigations, permits/high-risk work, temporary works/scaffolds/electrical safety, environmental controls and reporting required. Advanced environmental NEBOSH, commissioning/LOTO and digital tools are desirable.
In addition, in-person first-day onboarding at an AECOM office is required. EMPLOYMENT Contract.
