Role Purpose
ROLE Sika Corporation (USA) is recruiting a Senior Chemist in Madison Heights, MI, United States. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage chemical-product projects from feasibility through production transfer; design experiments, evaluate materials and competing technology, apply analytical and quality methods, agree customer testing specifications and support plant trials and new equipment needs.
In addition, rEQUIREMENTS Requires a science BS/MS/PhD and at least seven years working with thermoplastics/thermosets in automotive OEM applications.
Main Activities
Needs DOE, design FMEA, quality tools, Office skills and a record of formulation innovation; polyurethane chemistry is preferred. EMPLOYMENT Full-time.
